At St Mary's Community Nursery, dedicated staff forms the heart of our small, homely, and friendly Nursery. St Mary's Community Nursery was started as a not for profit company in 2009. It had previously been St Mary's Playgroup and when the committee started to dwindle, Claire and Charlotte set up the company to save the Playgroup, which had existed since the 1970's. They both started their childcare careers when their own children attended. In September 2009, the Nursery was moved to Hind Street where it continues to provide a safe and happy place for children to learn through play and become school ready.
